DO YOU CARRY INSURANCE?

Yes. Insurance is critical to protect the contractor and the client. JCR carries $2 Million in Commercial Liability Insurance$2 Million in Commercial Auto Insurance and we carry Workers’ Compensation Insurance to cover our employees and subcontractors in the event of injury.

DO I NEED A PERMIT?

Renovation permits are often a requirement of the municipality in which you live and can vary. Two specific renovations which require a permit are additions and decks. These are structural renovations and always require a permit.

DO YOU HAVE REFERENCES?

Yes. References are important to allow prospective clients to evaluate contractors. JCR Renovations provides references specific to the type of renovation being requested and more. We want our clients to call our references and they can always check our website for client testimonials.

DO YOU HAVE A CONTRACT FOR WORK TO BE COMPLETED?

Yes. JCR provides detailed quotes/estimates for all our renovation projects. These quotes include all the specifics of the project, plus terms and conditions. Our quotes are signed by both JCR and our clients and form a contract. Detailed contracts, such as these, provide a record of what was agreed upon and help ensure the renovation is completed as requested by the client and as agreed by the contractor. Good paperwork creates and maintains good relationship.
